One of the most annoying things about computers is how quickly they get cluttered with junk. Macs are no exception to this rule. A few years ago, I bought my wife a Mac PowerBook laptop. Until that point, all of our computers had been Windows PCs. We were pretty excited about making the switch and when we got the laptop, we were not disappointed.

The new Mac was great. It had all the latest bells and whistles and it was much faster than our PCs. But then the inevitable happened. New programs were downloaded and installed, log files and temp files started filling up the hard drive, etc. Over time, the new computer started to get slower and slower. Eventually, it got to the point that the laptop was barely even usable. Does any of this sound familiar? I bet it has happened to you too.

Coming from the Windows world, I had no idea how to speed up my Mac. On a PC, I knew exactly what needed to be done. I knew the right way to install and uninstall programs, and I knew what was safe to delete. I didn’t have a clue how to clean up my Mac.

Fortunately, I found a solution. Browsing the Internet one day, I came across a software tool called MacKeeper. I was immediately blown away by everything it offers. It was hard to believe at first, but the answer to all of my Mac problems were right there in one inexpensive software package. The features this program has are incredible. In one simple package, you can clean up old files, restore accidentally deleted files, encrypt data, safely install or uninstall software, and much more. It even comes with an anti-theft system for your Mac. How cool is that?

Our old laptop was pretty much useless. About the only thing it was good for was a paper weight or door stop. Now, with the availability of MacKeeper, I can breath new life into my computer. Before I found this software, I went ahead and bought another Apple computer. I’m excited to know that when it starts to get slow, I can easily get it back up to speed. Better yet, with this software I can keep it from ever getting slow in the first place.
