When I first heard about MacKeeper, I was very excited to download it and give it a try. I wasn’t sure what to expect from it, but it looked promising. I needed to speed up my Mac and so I was willing to give it a try. I’m usually skeptical about things like this, but the company’s website looks so professional and has lots of good information on it so I felt pretty confident that this was going to be a good product.

After downloading and installing MacKeeper (which was a very simple process), I was very impressed with the software. When you first load up the software, the main screen gives you the option to watch some tutorial videos. It’s such an easy tool to use that you don’t really have to watch the tutorial videos, but I went ahead and watched them anyway. They are all really short and to the point and they helped me to understand how to use it. I’m sure you can figure everything out on your own, but I still recommend watching the videos to make it easier on yourself.

The two things I needed most from this tool was the ability to clean my Mac and the ability to make it run faster. There are several tools within this software geared directly at solving these two problems. When I ran the cleaning tools, I was surprised at how much garbage I could get rid of. For me it was over 36 GB. I thought that was incredible.

The bottom line is that I was very impressed with MacKeeper. As far as Mac utilities go, this one is amazing. The interface it very intuitive and easy to use. It does exactly what it claims to do, which is quite a lot. Some of the more useful tools within the software are the One-Click Scan, the Data Encryptor, the Anti-Theft system, and the Wise Uninstaller. Go ahead and download a copy of the software and you will see exactly why I think it is so amazing.
